I agree with this blogger's views on shoplifting, she states that shoplifting gives an adrenalin rush. She backs this up with the fact that Winona Ryder shoplifted, Is she poor and needs money? I think not. I also relate to her statement of when she worked in retail and saw empty boxes that people have stole from. I worked in retail and this occurred many times, like in this bloggers case for pointless items.

Ive never shoplifted, well nothing serious anyway...But i do wonder how it must feel to be chased out of a shop by a hefty security guard and escape from him. Running down the street with your heart pumping... You may think I'm weird, But i can see why people do it for the rush it gives them. Even if they don't get caught to know youve walked out, your all coy!! Its a very addictive hobby though and you can see how people look for an even bigger buzz each time until eventually they end up in Jail!

Even though you have that rush there is so many bad things attached to shoplifting!!!

In a group of friends you may be impressed if your mate shoplifts, but if it gets out to members of their family for example, they are going to be ashamed, embarrassed, whatever you want to call it. Shoplifting is Illegal so therefore is bad bad bad, You shouldn't do it. You'll be a criminal if you do! You wont be trusted by employers in future, But while in the midst of shoplifting these things wont

go through your mind!!

But overall, I cant run fast so ...

its a bad bad thing to do.

Prostitution

The big bad 'P' word, I actually think prostitution is shown so much nowadays. Look at the dramas, TV programmes that have been on about it!! But its still seen as so 'Bad' and is illegal, So u wouldn't want to tell people that you were a prostitute would you??

I find it amazing that in Australia and Germany for example, Prostitution is legalised! The article below shows how different Germany's views on prostitution are to ours!!

But prostitution has been around for so long, Since early years prostitution has existed, maybe a little more undercover!!

In my boyfriends old flat if you went out after around 9pm and walked down the street a few yards there would be prostitutes standing around!! Surely that means the subject is becoming a little lax and a little less embarrassing in England if they are out at 9pm!!!So Its debatable about the view of prostitution worldwide but in England its still illegal and still seen as bad! Are just a prudish country? It can be said that, how long are we going to hold these views when slowly all the other country's are legalising prostitution?

Masturbation!!

I totally agree with this blogger, Masturbation isn't something to be ashamed of and is not seen as something bad to do that much nowadays! But as for talking about your own experiences of masturbation they should be kept for appropriate times. Like this blogger says its not really appropriate to talk about your masturbating experience at the dinner table!! I think that this was a really good point to make! Its very reflective of the modern view of masturbation.

I Still find it shocking that so many people still aren't open to masturbation! Whether you do or don't, it shouldn't be something you cant talk about!


American pie is quite a popular film which is heavily based on sex and masturbation, Some of the laid back conversations in the film that take place are about masturbation. But it also shows the embarrassment of what can happen if your caught! Perhaps its these moments in films that make people scared of masturbation......


But you could say that in the lecture we had on masturbation, most of the people are strangers to each other. So people are not going to discuss private matters to strangers. Whereas in groups of friends they could openly discuss masturbation!!! Whatever the case it can still be seen that masturbation is still a big taboo subject, even though its becoming more accepted. People are still embarrassed by it!

Infidility!!!!!!

I can never understand why people cheat. If an individual feel's they dont want to be with their partner anymore, Why cheat? They should finish the relationship first. But as i have never cheated i cannot judge people for their actions. I dont know what goes on in the 'cheaters' mind.

I have lost count of the amount of films i have watched that show infidility. Almost all of them end in disasterous consequences. The films 'The Good Girl'

and 'American Beauty' have those disasterous endings. The following link shows the basic story link for the good girl. Most films including the ones ive mentioned, the partners who cheat do so for excitement and to get away from the boredom at home. Whether this occurs in real life is debated.

Ive never been cheated on (hopefully..!!!!) and i think its not a nice thing to do!!But everyone has their own reasons. But just do the decent thing and if you want to stray.......leave!!!

My Evil View On Smoking!!!!

The one thing i was looking forward to most this year was the smoking ban in the summer. Ive put a link below which gives information about it;

But as the time draws nearer and I've been to places where the smoking ban is already in action, and seen people smoking, I have an incline it wont make a difference nationwide.
After June, Are clubs/pubs/restaurants going to have police or bar staff patrolling round to see if people are smoking? I think not! It may work in small pubs and alike where bar staff are able to keep an eye on everyone but not everyone and place will have the resources and time to do this. i just hope it does work to some extent so non-smokers like myself can walk out of a pub and club and not reek of cigarettes.

I think people smoke because of being influenced by peers, i still also believe people smoke to be cool. You can tell sometimes in the way someone smokes, when they really exaggerate!!!I think its quite amusing to watch...

But I'm not going to slag off smokers, they have their own mind. I just hate smelling of stale cigarettes when i don't smoke myself!!!

'The Field Trip'

Field Trip!!!

I recommend that for our field trip we go to one of the suggested places of Liverpool where there is a Bad arts event. I think this would be really interesting as i like the idea of deviant art! As it wont be boring old art but in my opinion different and appealing art!!! I admit i was a bit dodgy about going to a meuseum..but the i saw the art displayed. Its very Cool!!!!! Liverpool is also a large city, so i presume there would be lots of other things to do as well. Such as pubs as thats such a bad thing to do, get drunk!!
